We’re Not Free Until Everybody’s Free
Client: Research Foundation to Cure AIDS
The threat of AIDS traps many in expensive treatments, shifting focus away from finding a global cure. The Research Foundation to Cure AIDS (RFTCA) is working to change that with the message "We’re Not Free Until Everybody’s Free." During National Pride Month, RFTCA launches a campaign featuring talent from Ali Forney, a Harlem shelter for LGBTQ youth. The campaign reimagines Lady Liberty, the original symbol of liberation, in black and white, with her torch ablaze in rainbow colors to represent the hope and passion of the LGBTQ community. Leading up to the 2019 NYC Pride Parade, RFTCA hits the streets with guerrilla marketing, print ads, and a strong social media push to raise awareness and rally support for a cure.

The Free From AIDS Experience.
RFTCA leveraged that momentum to inaugurate the Free From AIDS fundraising gala, fostering new partnerships with Paul Smith and Lenox Health’s Northwell Health. These endeavors resulted in over $50,000 in donations and garnered over 80,000 social media impressions.
